1. 01 // Every rig owns a wallet

   There are 5,555 rigs, and each one owns a real on-chain wallet of its own. Whoever holds the NFT holds its wallet, automatically.

   Earnings are paid into the rig, not to you — so a rig’s production travels with it. Sell the rig and the buyer gets everything still inside it.

2. 02 // Activation brings it online

   A fresh rig is idle and earns nothing. You activate it once by paying $OIL, choosing from five tiers — the higher the tier, the larger the rig’s share of everything the field produces.

   Most of that fee is burned on the spot and never comes back. The rest funds the reserve. Activation belongs to the rig, so it survives a sale: buy an online rig, it stays online.

3. 03 // The reserve fills with real oil

   Protocol revenue buys USO — tokenized shares of the United States Oil Fund, the NYSE-listed oil ETF — and deposits it into a shared reserve alongside $OIL.

   Every deposit splits across all active rigs by weight the moment it lands. No schedule, no lockup, no queue.

4. 04 // You harvest when you like

   What a rig is owed only grows until you claim it. Harvesting moves it into the rig’s own wallet; one more signature moves it to yours.

   Or leave it where it is. A loaded rig is worth more on the market than an empty one, because the next owner inherits the load.

5. 05 // Rare rigs earn extra

   Beside the main reserve runs a second, smaller pool that pays by trait rarity. The rarest 1% of rigs earn at 3.00x, the top 5% at 2.25x, the top 10% at 1.75x, the top 25% at 1.40x, the top half at 1.15x, everything else at 1.00x.

   The table is frozen on chain — nobody can edit it again, including us — and it only ever adds. Rarity compounds with tier and travels with the rig when it sells.

Nothing here is a promise of return, a yield or an investment. Rigs produce only what the field takes in.
